Our go to and best pho spot in Vancouver! We’ve been here multiple times and they stay consistent with the quality, flavors and service. I would recommend their special crab soup, their classic pho (it’s amazingly rich in flavors) and a stunning rice vermicelli with 3 types of meat - we were amazed with the flavors! It’s the best spot you can find!

My favorite spot for Vietnamese food—absolutely delicious! Their Fried Squid Cake Soup (No. 25) is my go-to, and the Beef Rib Pho is just as amazing. There's nothing better than enjoying a hot bowl here on a rainy day in BC. Cozy, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. Highly recommend!

Bu Cha Ca Hoang Yen is a hidden gem! Their fish noodle soup is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, and the fish is incredibly fresh and tender. The noodles are cooked to perfection and have a wonderful texture that pairs so well with the broth. The portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is always on point. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Recommending the rich and flavorful crab soup here! The Special Crab Soup with Vermicelli (Bun Rieu) was delicious and incredibly rich and layered with flavor. Spring roll was crispy with generous and juicy meat fillings. The fish cakes were another standout — tender, flavorful, and clearly made in-house. They paired perfectly with the broth and rice noodles. Portions are generous, so you’ll definitely leave full. Plenty of spacious seating makes it a comfortable spot to dine in, and the service was impressively fast. Highly recommend if you’re craving a hearty and authentic bowl of Vietnamese crab soup!

We traveled a long way just to try their famous Bun Cha Ca (Vietnamese fish cake noodle soup), and it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant has that classic Vietnamese feel, adorned with traditional artwork and colorful neon lights. Staff hustle nonstop, handling a flood of takeout orders and packed tables with impressive speed. By 11:30 a.m., the place was buzzing, with a line out the door. We ordered the Bun Cha Ca, and I have to say, it was bursting with incredible flavors. The broth had a subtle fish umami, beautifully balanced with fresh dill, tomatoes, elephant ear stalks, and a hit of fried shallots. The star, of course, was the fish cakes, which came in tender slices, savory balls, and crispy fried ball pieces. Simply amazing! This has to be one of my favorite Vietnamese noodle soups. It’s rare to find something this special beyond the usual Pho or Bun Bo Hue, and it’s a gem to have it available here. The staff was super friendly and quick with our orders. Left feeling happy and fully satisfied!

This is one of the famous pho places in Vancouver, known for their crab broth, it’s a very busy spot, so if you’re interested in going, I highly recommend that you go earlier than regular lunch times to avoid lines. The pho is a bit on the more expensive side, but their reputation allows for it. The broth comes out super hot and is very well flavored without being too salty. The spring rolls are okay, but the main event is the pho. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area, and if you are a seafood lover, then the crab broth is a must try.
